The dough is very sticky and requires a lot of flour for rolling. After dribbling flour across the floor to get the tortilla in the pan, I found that all that excess ended up scorching by the time the tortilla was done. So, I had to take the pan to the sink and wipe it out after each and every tortilla. Not to mention that fact that I can NOT seem to get them round! I was absolutely thrilled to find how easy it is to make tortillas with an electric maker. You just place a dough ball on the preheated surface, press and cook right there. No excess flour, no carrying tortillas from rolling surface to stovetop. No scorching flour. No sweat!" |
